Imagine being 100% right, and the entire known world hating you for it.

In the 1600’s, Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaiuti de' Galilei – let’s just use his first name, Galileo… I think he has earned “Cher” status – was excommunicated from the church.

At the time, the church was more powerful than the state. In other words.. he was kicked out of society.

Why?

Because he was tried and found guilty of teaching that the earth orbits the sun, and not the other way around.

Today the average kindergartener knows this to be true (and believes it fully). But such was not the case in his day. That’s right – the most powerful people in the world at the time didn’t believe what a modern day kindergartener knows to be true. 

Being right too soon can cost you.

He wasn’t even the author and founder of this idea, mind you (you can thank Nicolaus Copernicus for that). He was merely a believer and evangelist. Nevertheless, he still paid dearly for his convictions. The sentenced 8 years of house arrest led to his death.

That brings us to 2025.

Whose research today is going to change the course of history? Who is making observations now and calling for something new – that everyone is calling crazy or weird, even though they’re actually right?
